This site was created in the fall of 2008 by myself, Nicole Solman,
a cloth loving new mom, inspired by a quest to find
natural baby products for my new daughter Ava.
Living in Muskoka has advantages, and some disadvantages too,
as my husband and I have had an extremely difficult time locating
ecofriendly items in our area, that we needed for raising our new baby.
After much thought, careful planning, and a lot of hard work,
Cottage Country Baby was born.
We are a home based, family run business, located in Huntsville, Ontario.
Our goal is to educate local and online parents and provide them with an
alternative to using disposable diapers by offering them all the
information required to use cloth diapers.
We aim to provide natural, comfortable baby and mommy products
that are hard to find, may not have been known about before by parents,
and are not offered by local merchants in our area.
We offer competitive priced, high quality items,
and have tried our best to find them here, made safely in Canada.
